Mark Evans: Llanrhaeadr a Llundain

Mark Evans from the village of Llanrhaeadr near Denbigh has appeared in some of the world's most famous musicals such as High School Musical, The Rocky Horror Show and Oklahoma.

In a programme to be broadcast over the Christmas perios, Rondo have spent a year in Mark's company.

Despite performing all around the UK and Europe playing lead roles on some of the West Ebd's most famous stages, Mark feeld that reaching the West End is still a long, arduous journey for any young boy or girl from rural Wales.

So he has started the West End in Wales venture which is a singing and dancing workshop back home in north Wales.

We will follow Mark as he plans the venture's timetable in this, its fifth year, and several other interesting prohects including the recording of his first album.

We'll also see Mark fulfill a dream by playing a lead role in the West End musical, Wicked, one of the most popular shows in the world!
