Rondo Media are delighted to have won a Royal Television Society award at the annual RTS Programme Awards ceremony on March 15th.

The Indian Doctor, a co production between Rondo Media and Avatar Films, captured the Daytime and Early Peak Award at the star studded event held at The Grosvenor Hotel, London

The series was broadcast on BBC One to much critical acclaim in November 2010 and was broadcast again on BBC One Wales and BBC Two.

"We're thrilled to have received such good news," said Rondo Media chief executive, Gareth Williams.

"Rondo Media is busy producing a high volume of drama output with the popular youth drama 'Rownd a Rownd' as well as a brand new eight part drama series, 'Porthpenwaig' and two new youth drama series for transmission on S4C later this year.

"The fantastic news last night is a great boost for us as we continue building on our portfolio of popular drama productions."
